Television

Vocento competes in the television business based on its national and regional licenses, which are a scarce resource of very high value, and which have allowed the Company to position itself for the challenges that the sector will face from 2010, when the digital switchover will be made.

Vocento is the only media group with a presence in national, regional and local television. It has a license to broadcast two Digital Terrestrial Television channels nationwide (Net TV), in which Disney Channel and Intereconomía TV are strategic partners. Following the launch of the children's channel in July 2008, Disney Channel became the audience leader after just a few weeks of broadcasting.

In regional and local television, Vocento operates across most of the country with regional and local licenses, in markets as important as Madrid, Catalonia, Andalusia, the Basque Country, and the Comunidad Valenciana.
