La Verdad
La Verdad was born on 1 March 1903. It is the largest newspaper in Murcia and has a major presence in Albacete and Alicante. It joined Grupo Correo in 1988. It has market share in readership and circulation in Murcia province of 60% and 51% respectively, according to data from the EGM* and OJD**.
La Verdad has seven editions: Murcia, Alicante, Albacete, Cartagena, Lorca, Orihuela and Elche, and in Elche Vocento has built a new printing plant with another publishing group in order to improve on the facilities that were in Murcia before. La Verdad completes its multimedia positioning with a local portal, a television station (Canal 6) and a radio broadcaster.
