IDEAL was born on 8 May 1932, and joined the Group in 1988. Its commitment to journalism that is close to citizens has allowed it to consolidate its leadership, with 190.000 readers (according to the EGM*) and circulation of 21.011 copies (according to the OJD**). It is necessary to add that on his web portal the journal possesses 2.108.000 unique users (according to information of ComScore MMX December, 2014).

In addition to providing the best local information, IDEAL completes its editorial offer with regular specialist supplements. The newspaper is a major part of the social and cultural region of the region. Its multimedia strategy is based on a local portal and initiatives such as the ‘TaT Granada 14’ application for the Talking About Twitter event held in Granada. The application delivers users with complete information about the event, including presentations and a calendar. These and other initiatives are helping IDEAL evolve and progress.
