Vocento is the consolidated leader of the Spanish press, thanks to its heritage and the excellent positioning of its 14 titles; ABC, the free daily Qué! and the regional dailies El Correo, El Diario Vasco, El Diario Montañés, La Verdad, Ideal, Hoy, Sur, La Rioja, El Norte de Castilla, El Comercio, La Voz de Cádiz and Las Provincias. The combined readership of these newspapers is about 4.8 million readers* with circulation of about 1.4 million copies per day**.
Regional Multimedia
The Regional Media area of Vocento is headed by twelve newspapers which are all leaders in their respective areas. Their circulation is almost half a million** copies per day, with a readership of close to two and a half million*. The influence of these brands and their strong links to their regions have enabled the construction of multimedia businesses around them, composed of a local portal, and in most cases, audiovisual media, radio and/or television.
Although half of these titles are over one hundred years old, and all of them have a long and successful history, in 2009 they implemented an ambitious project for renewal and modernisation, which has turned them into an example for journalism across Europe. Citizens now enjoy a print product that is even more closely adapted to their requirements and wishes, and which each day is complemented by the supplement V, a space for the best reportage and news, containing different points of view and surprising content.
