Punto Radio
Punto Radio started operating in September 2004, and after six seasons on air has consolidated an audience of over half a million listeners****, with a strong and growing presence across all of Spanish territory, thanks to a professional team made up of leading presenters and to the constant presence of special guests.
During this period, the Vocento broadcaster has been able to confirm its programming as a high quality alternative to the existing offer. Punto Radio is the radio station for people, for people who are looking for entertainment, for company, and for fun.
The philosophy of "listening to the listener" reflects a different form of radio,as practiced in almost 11,000 shows broadcast by Luis del Olmo, and a philosophy which has been incorporated by the presenters of all the shows: Félix Madero in the first part of Protagonistas; Ana García Lozano in Queremos hablar; Pepa Sastre in De costa a costa; Agustín Castellote in El mirador; Rosa García Caro in Cinco Lunas or Ramón García in Protagonistas Fin de Semana.
Punto Radio started to broadcast from about fifty broadcasters, including stations in all the main Spanish cities. Little by little, the channel has been able to increase its network, reaching national coverage, with a presence in all the provinces of Spain. In November 2009, it reached an agreement with Onda Ramblas to integrate its broadcasters and to consolidate Vocento's radio project by ensuring coverage in Catalonia, one of the largest advertising markets in Spain.
