Mr. José María Bergareche Busquet,
Mr Bergareche Busquet is the First Vice-Chairman of the Board of VOCENTO. Mr Bergareche Busquet holds a degree in Law and Economics from Universidad Comercial de Deusto. He was previously the Chief Executive Officer of VOCENTO until 2007. Between 1996 and 2004 he was the Chairman of Taller de Editores, S.A., Chairman of the Spanish section of the International Newspapers Institute between 1994 and 1997, Deputy Vice-Chairman of Recoletos Compañía Editorial between 1992 and 1996, Chairman of IFRA between 1989 and 1993, member of Government Board of Universidad de Deusto between 1996 and 2001 and Director of the Bilbao Editorial, S.A. (Grupo Correo) between 1989 and 2001. In 2003 he was awarded with the prize "Emprendedor del Año" promoted by Ernst & Young and in 2004, the Asociación de la Prensa of Madrid awarded him with the prize Miguel Moya de Periodismo He was the Chairman of AEDE (Asociación de Editores de Diarios Españoles) during 2005. Mr Bergareche Busquet currently belongs to the Círculo de Empresarios Vascos since February 2004 and to the European Publishers’ Council (E.P.C.).
